Scope: Copywriting | Social Media Management | Content Creation | Pitching
Project: Elevating a 165+ Year Legacy Through Strategic Storytelling

As the sole copywriter on a five-person design team within one of Chicago’s oldest and most respected real estate firms, I was the go-to content strategist for internal teams and 2,500+ independent agents. From executive communications to grassroots marketing materials, I delivered clear, compelling copy that honored Baird & Warner’s 165+ year legacy while pushing the brand forward.

I created cohesive, on-brand content across every touchpoint—weekly newsletters, press releases, agent marketing templates, brochures, postcards, email campaigns, bios, advertorials, blogs, and more. Whether I was crafting an agent’s bio or writing a CEO statement during a crisis, every word served to reinforce Baird & Warner’s brand promise: Real estate made easier.

On the social media front, I led content strategy, community management, and crisis communications for the company’s main channels, plus 29 satellite offices. I also managed internal communications via Facebook at Work, ensuring consistent voice and high engagement across platforms.

Project: $24K of Solid Good
Client: Baird & Warner’s Good Will Network
Role: Concepting | Storyboarding | Scripting | Production Coordination | Interviewing

To spotlight Baird & Warner’s deep-rooted commitment to community, I pitched and produced a heart-led video series: $24K of Solid Good. Each video captured the real-time surprise of nonprofits receiving $24K grants through the company’s annual public voting campaign—part of their $120K+ donation effort to fight homelessness in Chicagoland.

From scripting and storyboarding to hiring a videographer and scheduling shoots, I led creative and production efforts for six emotionally resonant videos that celebrated giving back and reinforced B&W’s 165+ year legacy as neighbors helping neighbors.

In 2017, Baird & Warner's Good Will Network donated $120,000 to five housing-related nonprofits in Chicagoland.

This video announces all five winning nonprofits by surprising them with the good news. Winners included:
+ Housing Opportunities for Women
+ Marklund
+ PADS of Elgin
+ Beds Plus Care
+ Turning Pointe Autism Foundation,

These were sent directly via email, posted on our blog, and promoted on social media to Baird & Warner's fans and followers.

Beds Plus Care has been giving the homeless community of La Grange a safe place to sleep and find hot, homemade meals since 1988. They provide much needed professional and job counseling folks need to become self-sufficient. They'll put their $24,000 to good use by continuing to fight homelessness.

Videos were made for each winning nonprofit.

Key Mortgage

When needed, I switched gears and wrote communications for Baird & Warner’s sister company, Key Mortgage. Some of my favorite pieces were the fliers and postcards promoting a free trip to Mexico if brokers met their sales volume and mortgage goals.
