Collateral:
Copywriting: weekly newsletters, marketing materials, emails, press releases, brochures, post cards, executive communications, bios, advertorials, blogs, marketing templates for agents, etc.
Social Media: community management, content creation, scheduling, crisis communications, follower engagement, etc. Managed internal Facebook At Work, main B&W social pages, and managed the 29 satellite offices.

Description:
I was the only copywriter for a team of five designers in a company with 150 full-time employees and 2,500 independent real estate agents. I delivered on client requests from all sides and in all forms. I focused on creating content and consistent branding for the 165+ year-old Chicagoland real estate company.

Their account featured Chicagoland community highlights, #tbt facts about Baird & Warner's long history in Chicagoland, and custom images announcing awards and holiday greetings. All branding remained in the black and yellow theme and referenced their brand promise, "Real estate made easier."

Key Mortgage

When needed, I switched gears and wrote communications for Baird & Warner’s sister company, Key Mortgage. Some of my favorite pieces were the fliers and postcards promoting a free trip to Mexico if brokers met their sales volume and mortgage goals.

Description:
While at Baird & Warner, I pitched the concept of videos that embody who B&W is at their core: community advocates and a family of givers. Every year the company's philanthropic arm, the Good Will Network, donates $120,000+ to five local nonprofits dedicated to eliminating and relieving homelessness in Chicagoland via public voting on their social media channels. I produced, wrote video copy, contracted a freelance videographer, and coordinated the shooting schedule to coincide with the end of B&W's annual, online voting campaign. There were six videos created in total. These videos tug at heart strings and also shine a positive light on Baird & Warner, a Chicago business founded in 1855, continue to embody their ethos of neighbors helping neighbors.

Beds Plus Care has been giving the homeless community of La Grange a safe place to sleep and find hot, homemade meals since 1988. They provide much needed professional and job counseling folks need to become self-sufficient. They'll put their $24,000 to good use by continuing to fight homelessness.

Videos were made for each winning nonprofit.
